INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Let dry completely betwixt painting steps.
- Rip up iii to four unlike scrapbook papers and decoupage them to the canvass using Americana Matte Decou-Folio and the i" flat brush.
- Paint the edge of the canvas with the 1" flat brush and Vermilion.
- Paint over the Vermilion with Primary Magenta. Before it dries, lift off some of the Primary Magenta by pressing and lifting with a wet wadded up paper towel.
- Paint over the papers on the front of the sheet with the 1/2" flat brush and a lot of Vermilion and Primary Magenta. Paint with a wet brush so the paint stays very transparent and some papers bear witness through.
- Wash the brush. While the other colors are nonetheless wet, paint the middle with Green Golden, letting the Green Gold mix in with Vermilion and Main Magenta where they run across.
- Randomly utilise stencils around the edge of the canvas with the cosmetic sponge and the three colors y'all've been using. (Practice not thin the paint for this part.)
- Dip one/ii" flat brush into Carbon Black and wipe off most of the pigment onto a newspaper towel. Dry-castor around the peak edge of the sail.
- Using tracing newspaper and transfer papers, transfer the cartoon onto the front of the canvas. (See photo for placement.)
- Using the photo every bit a guide, fill up in the colors with the #three round brush. (For tiny detail areas, use the #2 liner brush.) Paint the girl with colors you see in the photo: Paint her hair with Vermilion. While information technology'southward all the same wet, add a piddling Titanium White to the Vermilion on the brush to add together dimension. Pigment her shirt and eyeshadow with Cobalt Teal.
- Paint her pants, handle bars, and the tires with Medium Grey Value 6. Mix a slightly lighter gray past adding Titanium White to the Medium Gray Value half-dozen for the bike seat.
- The cycle is Pyrrole Red with just a bear on of Titanium White added. The pumpkin is Vermilion with a affect of Hansa Yellow Medium.
- Her boots and eyebrows are Burnt Sienna with a bit of Pyrrole Red. The basket is Vermilion with simply a chip of Burnt Sienna. (Add Titanium White to whatsoever color to add highlights.) Fill in her eyes with Burnt Sienna. The whites of her eyes are Titanium White. Her lips are Pyrrole Ruddy.
- The rope for the pumpkin is Hansa Yellowish Medium. Mix equal parts Vermilion, Pyrrole Red, and Titanium White and, with the liner brush, add a blush to her nose and cheeks.
- Utilise tracing paper to create a blueprint. Cutting out a slice of scrapbook newspaper in the shape of the scarf and Decou-Page it down using the #3 circular brush.
- Print out the words for the quote. (Use the template provided or use your favorite font.) Impress out a dog caput, cut information technology out, and Decou-Page it down. Accent the canis familiaris with watered downwardly Cobalt Teal.
- Outline the unabridged analogy, make tire spokes, and add together fiddling dots on the pumpkin with the #2 liner castor and Carbon Black.
- Mix one part Titanium White and ii parts Light-green Gold and use to make a subtle outline around the girl. To become the fading effect, rub the paint with your finger.
- Stamp the give-and-take "Fall" with alphabetic character stamps onto a piece of paper or print them off with a large size front. Cut out the individual messages.
- Impress out the words of the saying and cutting out each give-and-take or phrase. (Meet photo for placement.) Decou-Page them downward using the #3 circular brush.
- Mix 1 part Titanium White with i part Cobalt Teal. Employ the mix and the Polka Dot Accent Stencil to make dots on the shirt.
- Decou-Page down whatever lilliputian bits of scrapbook paper for accent. (I added the black and white checkerboard strips.)
- Using the #ii liner castor, add petty $.25 of colors to the words and letters to add together interest and emphasis. Outline the bits of paper with Carbon Black then use brighter colors randomly. Do the same to the daughter and bike using the liner brush.
- Add Primary Magenta and the #2 liner brush to make texture lines on the basket.
